Pictures taken during my trial sails in 2001. That is Me at the helm... I had to replace the jib. (seen as whiter than the other sails...)

She is built with oak planking on oak frames. around 1973-74 she got a (thick!) layer of glass fibre and epoxy on the outside. The cabin is mahogany with larch roof. The deck is plywood with glass fibre coating and masts are oregon pine.

History

There is a book, "Berättelser från havet", by Birger Sjöberg, one of the previous owners. (ISBN 91-518-3967-9). The book contains a chapter on Stout and has her picture on the front page.
