Krissy Carlson was born on August 10th, 1978, in Covina, California. Attending St. Lucy's Priory High School, an all-girls' Catholic School, Krissy grew up in La Verne, CA, with her parents Jan and Robert and two older siblings, Jenny and Tim. After graduating from high school, Krissy studied at California State University in Northridge for a year. Her earliest jobs includes working at a gym and being a lifeguard at Raging Waters.

In her sophomore year in high school, Krissy was discovered by a talent scout and started modeling. Throughout the years, Krissy has been dancing profesionally as well. While a student at Northridge, she was a cheerleader for their basketball team, and in 1997, she cheered for Anaheim Angels.

In 1997, Krissy became interested in acting and started taking classes. It didn't take long before she had booked her first guest starring role on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and she followed it by doing guest spots on shows such as Pacific Palisades and Step by Step. At the end of the year, Krissy landed a role on the daytime drama Sunset Beach. She had originally auditioned for Beverly Hills 90210, but Aaron Spelling - who was the executive producer for both shows - thought she was too young and instead gave her the role on Sunset Beach. The 8 episodes she was contracted for, eventually led to being part of the cast, as they enjoyed Krissy's performance so much. She stayed with the show until December 31st, 1999, when it was cancelled.

The following year, Krissy made some episodes of MTV's Undressed and she was also a cheerleader for the Los Angeles Extremes during the season of 2000/2001. In the summer of 2002, Krissy and her parents made an episode of the reality show Meet My Folks, and she also starred in a not-yet-released movie, 5A. In February 2003, she became a certified personal trainer and in August same year, she joined the cheerleader team Blazer Dancers, which she stayed with for a year.

Between 2002-2005, Krissy studied communications at the University of Portland, where she has now graduated. She is currently working as a cheerleader for The Portland LumberJax.

In her spare time, Krissy enjoys horseback riding, painting, hiking, dancing, snorkelling, surfing, and swimming.
